It says  “Vegetarian diet weakens bones”, and then goes on to say

“There was “practically no difference” between the bones of meat-eaters and ovolactovegetarians, who excluded meat and seafood but ate eggs and dairy products, he said”   – Nguyen wrote in the study, which was published Thursday in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

I think that is a bit misleading, and should read “Vegan diets…. ” I am a ovolactovegetarian. I tell people “I don’t eat anything that comes from DEAD animals, LIVE animal stuff for the most part is okay”. So not eating meat, doesn’t really harm my bones, as long as I eat dairy.  I have had so many people make comments to me about raising a Veggie kid. Well, my DD is in the 75% and up percentile, has the vocab of a 3+ year old at age 2, etc. I don’t see how I am harming my child….
