I just received and e-mail from Siobhan co-owner of Massage Envy Flag.  She said  “The Susan G Komen day was a hugely successful event, our therapists performed over 60 massages!!!”.

That is amazing as 100% of the money went to Susan G. Komen! How amazing for a company to do that! Kuddos to Massage Envy for helping give back to the community! I felt even better after my massage knowing I did it for a charity and not just for myself!

I reviewed my experience there a few days ago, you could look back to see it! It really is a great place!

Maybe I will get used to it, but I don’t like that they skipped 5 years of drama. Susan and Mike??? Really? What do you all think?

FM brought DD to her first ever concert! It was awesome! There were so many kids there, which was great! PMA is such a beautiful concert venue. I was really picky about which concert would be her first. I wanted it to be a cool one. Zen Baby was there selling Franti shirts and hats for the kiddos, and I got DD a “concert shirt”. It was a great night!

Hey, those of you that clicked on the Michael’s coupon link what did you buy? Is this coupon offering something you would like to see again? I bought the last Wilton Giant Cupcake Pan It seems really cool, I will use it for DD’s Birthday next year. I can’t wait to use it!

What would you like to see here? Siobhan, owner of Massage Envy had a great idea, that I altered a bit. Would you be interested in a in a Q&A with local mama’s about how they handle work/life/kids,etc.  I think it would be great.

FM was so curious a few weeks ago as to why Melamine? Well basically it shows up as a protein when products are tested. So, with milk and baby formula ,where part of testing to make sure products are not watered down is checking protein content, melamine shows up as protein. The same went for dog food, cut the meat, but add plastic. Sounds yummy doesn’t it.

Just an FYI, another Made in China Recall! This one involves Mr. Brown Instant Coffee and Tea products, that are possibly tainted with Melamine.

I went to the Massage for the Cure event last week. The facility is larger than you would expect. It is not a day spa, they only offer massage. The rooms are nice and quiet, and they have a second quiet waiting area in the back. I had a great experience! The gal I had as my Massage Therapist was fab! Not chatty, but was kind enough to ask if her pressure was okay. I highly recommend Massage Envy!

I recently read that us white folks (another clue to my identity) are less likely to vote for Obama because he is black. Is it 1960? If you don’t agree with his politics, don’t feel he is experienced , are scared he will raise taxes (honey, the next pres will have to raise taxes, that 700 Billion ain’t just gonna be made at the mint), don’t vote for him. I am not endorsing any candidate as FM. As my Bruce Wayne type self I know who I am voting for! LOL Maybe I am naive, but I am appalled that people won’t vote for a black man. To me that is sad. That my DD is still growing up in a world where we judge based on things like race, religion,etc. I HATE THE N WORD! I think it is sad to hear people say it with no regard to how it makes people feel. If you cannot say something to someone’s face you shouldn’t say it at all.
